Walgreens: 12/7 But wait till the 10th | 12/09/2008 |

Walgreens

My plan for Walgreens this week is to wait until Wednesday to go shopping since most items on my list do not involve register rewards. Why am I waiting until Wednesday? Becuase again this week starting Wednesday, spend $25 in merchandise and you will receive a $5 register reward.
If the sale is like last week, my total only needed to be $25 before coupons! You can not use a register reward from one $25 promotion to pay for the next and have another register reward print out. If you split up your orders, a register reward will print out for each set though. You can however use a register reward from another promotion and a new register reward will print out. Also remember, at Walgreens you need to have the same number or more of items as you have coupons. Walgreens ESR coupons do not count as they are just store discounts.
Say you earned a RR for buying Wyeth products (Robitussin). You could use that RR to buy Proctor and Gamble products and have a P&G RR print out for you. If you have questions, please leave them in the comments section of this post.
If Walgreens ends up being out of some of the items I want I can just get a rain check and still get the "deals". If I don't make it to the $25 mark to receive the register reward I am no worse off because of the rain check factor.
