Savings Garden

a little of this and a little of that and a whole lot of savings.

Load eCoupons to your Plus Card 10/29/2008

Many of you may already know about the eCoupons you can download onto your Kroger grocery rewards card but in case you don't ...
(Go here for a list of Kroger brand stores (Smith's & Ralph's included). All may not participate in the eCoupon program, check with your local store).

I just signed up (free) for another online source for eCoupons so I thought I would mention all three again.

P&G
Shortcuts.com
and now Cellfire

It's easy and it free. Just follow the steps on each of the sites to register your card and choose the coupons you want to have loaded. The best part though is that the eCoupons you load onto your shopper's card can be combined with paper coupons for greater savings. Just scan your card at checkout and the coupons automatically come off your bill. It will say eCoupon next to the item the coupon applies to on your receipt.

Remember that eCoupons will not double or triple and you should load your coupons onto your card at least an hour before you intend to use them to allow time for them to show up on your card.

Cellfire was mainly set up to work with your cell phone but you can just download the coupons to your shopper's card instead. You will need to have a cell phone though to receive the activation code they send you to set up your account. Right now there are 2 coupons for free items and a $.50 Cottonelle toilet paper coupon. Combine with the $.25/1 Cottonelle MQ(triples to $.75) from last Sunday's paper to get Free toilet paper. 4 packs in my area are $1.19 right now.

I wish our local grocery stores participated in this. It would save money on paper/ink when I print internet coupons!
