Target will not give overage and should adjust the coupon down. If managers or cashiers give you trouble with this... which happens a lot - Well I contacted Target corporate and they replied back to me by email that when a product costs less than the value of the coupon, that the coupon should be adjusted down to match the value of the item. I have the corporate number stored in my cell and I carry a copy of the email with me.
