Walgreens was out of most of the cleaner I wanted to I had to re-work some things. My favorite cashier let me know that they have a 5 item minimum on the shelves so even if just a couple people come shopping for the deals it's likely that by the time I get there on Mon. they will be out of a lot of stuff. Don't forget to ask for rain checks!
Today's Transactions: I did 4 seperate transactions to make sure everything worked as it should.
(3) Dimetapp @ $3.99 = $11.97
used (3) $2 MQ = $5.97 OOP paid with gift card
earned $10 Register Reward
$4 profit
(3) Robitussin @ $3.99 = $11.97
used (3) $3 MQ = $2.97 oop paid with gift card
earned $10 Register Reward
$7 profit
Scrubb Bubbles max kit = $3.79
(2) S/B Shower Foamer = $7.58
(2) S/B cleaner = $4.98
(2) S/B bath wipes = $4.98
used $10 RR from previous trans.
used $3 max kit MQ
used (2) $1 foamer MQ
used (2) $.75 cleaner MQ
used (2) $1 wipes MQ
= $2.83 plus tax = $3.06 oop paid by gift card
earned $10 Register Reward
I was able to used the RR from the cold medicine to purchase the cleaner and have the cleaner RR print because they are two seperate companies' promotions. I could not use the Dimeatapp RR to purchase the Robitussin and have the Robitussin RR print because they are part of the same promotion.
So I spent $12 oop on a gift card and I have $20 in RRs to spend!
Last transaction:
(8) Smart Balance Butter Tubs 2/$3
Lypsil Lip moisturizer - $1.99
use (8)$1/1 butter MQ
send in for Lypsil rebate of $1.99
Final price after MQ and rebate = $4.16 paid on gift card - This butter freezes great.
Thanks!! Today I spent $50 and got $33 in RR and will get $12 more in rebate. It would have been even better but I accidently did the Dimatapp deal and the Robutussin deal on the same purchase. It was good but frustrating too because their employees didn't seem like they knew how to handle RR, the register ran out of tape, and the line was held up forever... I have much less headache with CVS!
Christina great job!
I prefer CVS by far over Wags. Wags can get a little tricky. Sometimes I have to do a little education lesson for their staff. I always expect something to go wrong so I like to check out at the beauty counter to try and avoid line back up. Still happens though. I have a favorite Walgreens with a great beauty consultant that I always try and go to. The managers are great too.
