I must say Walgreens out shined CVS by a mile this month and yesterday was no exception.
Here goes:
2 Reach Toothbrushes (weekly deal: buy 2 at $5 get $5 RR)
4 Glade Scented Oil candles
5 Glade fabric and air deodorizer sprays
1 Pert Plus Shampoo
1 Walgreens Acid Controller (Sept. FAR item)
1 Crest Pro Health mouth rinse, 500 ml. (earn $4.50 RR monthly deal)
Total before coupons: $64.88
Total coupons used: $42
RR earned: $9.50
I spent $23.90 including tax on a gift card and will get $24.48 + 10% added back to my gift card for rebates I earned on these purchases. Plus, I have $9.50 in Register Rewards to spend.
That's a profit of $12.53!

Hey Lisa, glad you stopped by. At first I stayed away from Wags unless it was a can’t miss sale because of all the rules with the register rewards and their short expiration dates. Lately though, I have really enjoyed the sales. Making friends with the managers has really helped and I am able to turn my register rewards into Walgreens gift cards. It depends on how the managers interpret no “gift cards”. You can not buy restaurant, visa, or retail gift cards etc., with RRs but you can buy a Wags gift cards with them or at least you should be able to.
I’m glad you like the blog. I am looking for a new design though. This one doesn’t have some of the functionality that I need.
