Breaking News!!
In Texas at least, my new sales week didn't start today. CVS test markets will be going back to sales cycles running Sunday through Saturday I was told. The CVS staff I spoke with said however, since the tags for the next week go up on Saturday that they will honor the sales prices and ECB deals on Saturday. We shall see... I've only seen this done at 24 hour stores.
What's your opinion on the sales cycle dates?

I was so sad to not see a CVS ad in today's paper. I loved having the sales start on Friday.
I liked being able to shop on the first day of the sale as well. If what the cashier told me about getting the "deals" on Saturday holds true then I will not mind going back to the old sales cycle. I know one lady in our group that gets the deals on Saturday but she shops at a 24 hour store. I could as well, it's just not the closest store. I hope they go back to the old sales ad though. I did not like the new flyer.
I got the deals Saturday night (closest to me is a 24 hr store), which actually works out better for me (since I didn't have to take the babe).
